Storm Boelo hit our shores on Saturday the 24th resulting in a big wreck of Little Gulls along the Sussex Coast. A steady movement east occurred off Langney Point at the height of the storm on Saturday, along with a couple of Leach's Petrels, since when Little Gulls have been seen in numbers feeding and relocating west along the coast. Double figures have been present in Normans' Bay since Sunday, when there was also a juvenile Goosander in the east sluice drain. Those pictured were offshore at the fishing boats at high tide yesterday, the 27th.
